Acrylic is a very forgiving medium to work with. It can be applied quite thick and treated like oil paint, and it can also be applied more thinly with water. It blends beautifully and you can create some wonderful effects with it.  My canvases are not framed, as I paint the edges to make them part of the painting itself, but you can frame them if you wish.  Each painting comes ready to hang.
